The National Employment Lawyers Association Applauds
Senate Confirmation of Jenny Yang as EEOC Commissioner
(Washington, DC) – Patricia A. Barasch, President of the National Employment Lawyers Association, issued the following statement on the Senate's confirmation of longtime NELA member Jenny R. Yang to the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC):
"Jenny Yang will bring to the EEOC the same passion and commitment to advancing equality and justice for workers that she has demonstrated throughout her laudable career. We commend President Obama for nominating this dedicated champion of equal employment opportunity to the EEOC and applaud the Senate for confirming Ms. Yang to fill this important seat.
